Chivas USA had their winless streak extended to nine matches, falling 3-0 to the Columbus Crew on Sunday afternoon at Crew Stadium. Chivas USA sit in ninth place in the Western Conference with 24 points from 27 games.

Diego Pablo Simeone tendrá una preocupación menos para hacer frente a la hora de planificar para el próximo derbi madrileño. El director no tendrá que pensar en el hombre que culpó de la derrota en Lisboa y el empate en el partido de ida de la Supercopa española - Ángel di María, un jugador que tanto admira y temores.

Después del partido en el Bernabéu el pasado agosto, Simeone tropezó con 'El Fideo' dentro del Bernabéu. Cariñosamente, el gerente Atléti le dijo: "Usted b ***** d, te equivocaste mi juego! Era todo bajo control hasta que llegaste a! Igual que en Lisboa! Menos mal que sólo puso usted en el 10 ?? minutos ". Las palabras amables dijeron al jugador después de lo que iba a ser su último partido con la camiseta del Real Madrid.

El jugador del Real estaba viviendo sus últimas horas como 'Blanco'. Simeone sugirió en broma que tal vez no era bienvenido allí y que lo recibiría con los brazos abiertos ?? Uno de los muchos momentos en los que 'El Cholo' ha mostrado su admiración y afecto a su compatriota. Después de Di María había expresado su agradecimiento por esas amables palabras, el gestor de Atlético luego entró en su conferencia de prensa en la que elogió el jugador una vez más.

"En el segundo tiempo, con Di María que se acerca, el Real Madrid jugó mejor. Lógico, porque él es el mejor jugador de todos ellos. Con él, el equipo comenzó a descomponerse y él hizo las cosas difíciles para nosotros en la defensa", Simeone declaró, con una mezcla de desesperación y admiración.
